Compassion is Immeasurable

I was amazed to learn from Sensei McNeil this afternoon that there has been only one Sunday in nine years that no one has shown up for zazen. Nine years! All the more reason to ponder: what in the world is this thing we call buddha nature? It can't be created, and it can't be destroyed. Sadness and happiness, birth and death float by, just like clouds, on and on and on. I don't have any more words today.
